U r just a tenant in that property. Most of the tenants have over used the buildings without giving peace of mind , due respect to landlord, landlord who must be in heavy loss and when any one makes a loss in any enterprise he sells it so this poor unfortunate landlord had to sell his dear prperty as nither he was making any money nor the tenants let him breath and live peacefully.

Now a builder has come. He will re look at all things and will like to make it a profitable venture.Nothing wrong as far as he does his moves legally and thru mediation. If he takes law in hand then use RTI against him.

I was a tenant I would welcome him and keep good relation and cooperate with and sound him that I am with him provided he rebuilds and gives me my lawfully occupied area again.I can certainly request for giving good construction and amenities which r not available in old building. I can also request for some extra area at some discounted rate.

But it all depends on mentality of landlord and tenant that they r going to go ahead.
